The quick- stop device (QSD) are design for the cutting metal that use in turning process produce chip root formation. This concentrated on time separation rapidly stops when obtain root. In of formation needed high impact force to force. existing QSD designed with large size and weight accommodate load more 1000N. area stress maybe can be fatigue get than ability strength QSD. this paper an analysis critical part via explicit dynamic static structural finite element method using ANSYS. also study finding optimal topology optimization minimize size, quick-stop device. Then, values equivalent total deformation identify analysis. From that, it will continue remove unnecessary based contour low stress.
